Feb. 28, 1961 The Preparation Center of TTV Enterprise Ltd. was established

Apr. 28, 1962 
TTV Enterprise Ltd. Was formerly founded. The day was named as the birthday of TTV ever since. The first chairman was Lin Ber-sho, the first president was Chou Ten-shang, the capital was NT $30,000,000

Oct. 10, 1962 
Madame Chiang Kai-shek pressed the button to start TTV broadcasting the first time and to usher in the new age of TV history in Taiwan.

Oct. 10, 1962 
The TTV transmission network in the Central and Southern Taiwan was in operation the first time.

Sep. 27, 1969 TTV transmitted the first color TV signals in Taiwan.

Oct. 16, 1969 
Hualian Transmission Station was built and in operation, the broadcasting network began to cover Eastern part of Taiwan fully.

Apr. 27, 1978 
The subsidiary TTV Cultural Enterprise Ltd. Was founded.

Apr. 28, 1990 
TTV became the latest corporation to adopt CIS. Its new corporate logo was born.Jan. 01, 1991 Automated Programming Center was adopted.

Jan. 01, 1992 
TTV began to broadcast in the stereo multi-channel audio mode. TTV news programs in daily flights.

Mar. 25, 1998 TTV website (www.ttv.com.tw) was up and running.

Jul. 13, 1998 
The Equity Management Committee of Finance Department approved the IPO of TTV Enterprise Ltd.

Nov. 30, 1999 
TTV was certified as an ISO9002 company. (Production Engineering System)Mar. 10, 2000 TTV became the institutional shareholder of Taiwan Fixed Network Co.Ltd.

Sep. 13, 2000 
TTV began a cross-the-board corporate re-engineering by setting up 4 reform panels including “Strategy Planning Panel”, “Organization Re-engineering Panel”, “Personnel Reform Panel” and “Asset Management Panel”.

Nov. 15, 2000 
TTV began organization re-engineering in accordance with its ”Multi-Channel, Multimedia and Multi-platform” strategic aim.Jan. 1, 2001 TTV launched the “TTV 2001 Takeoff” campaign with its corporate vision of becoming the most competitive media in the digital age.

Apr. 26, 2002 
TTV worked with Research, Development and Evaluation Commission under Executive Yuan to establish Government Bookstore and Government Bookstore website.

Jul. 1, 2003 
Hakka TV started to air in channel 17. Broadcasting 24-hour a day with varieties of contents, Hakka TV is the first-ever channel to air all programs in Hakka dialect. Its aim is to promote and preserve the local Hakka culture.

Aug. 28, 2003 Hakka Broadcasting Company was set up for the advertising business of Hakka TV.

Mar. 15, 2004 
The Lucky 4 mascots—Lulu, U-U-, Chacha and Kiki were ushered in to celebrate the 40th anniversary of TTV.

May 15, 2004 
To embrace the digital age, TTV was transformed from an analogue broadcasting station to multi-channel digital TV networks.

Jul. 1, 2004 
SDTV programs were aired in three channels under Single Frequency Network CH-32.

Oct. 25, 2005 
TTV International channel was established to broadcast news, variety and drama programs to oversea Taiwanese. 

Apr. 28, 2006 TTV launched Mobile Radio service.

Jun. 28, 2006 
TTV’s board meeting elected board member Lai Guo-jou as both the Chairman and CEO of TTV. 

Dec. 20, 2006 
TTV’s High Definition Interactive TV Services on WiMax Project was approved by Industrial Development Bureau under Ministry of Economic Affairs and received government funds.
